Lime Logs

European Lime (linden) has no distinction by colour between sapwood and heartwood, the wood being pale yellowish-white when freshly cut. It has a quick drying process and takes nails, stain and polish very nicely, turns well, and carves extremely well.

The average height of the tree is 30m but can reach 40m with a diameter of 1.2m.

The most common use for European Lime is for interior joinery (furniture).
