Ash

European Ash has a light colour, being a pale brown. It is usually straight-grained and dries at a quick rate with a low risk of splitting. It is nice timber to machine, finishes smoothly and can be glued, stained and polished. Ash trees tend to reach heights of 30-40m.

European Ash has a wide range of uses, from sports goods and tool handles to interior furniture and flooring.
