Engineered Wood Flooring
Engineered Wood Flooring is becoming increasingly popular and can “TICK ALL THE BOXES”. It’s more stable, the boards are layered to give extra strength and is suited for under floor heating. There are many species and finishes available and different thicknesses of wear layer. The thicker the wear layer the longer the lifespan of the floor, although even a 4mm wear layer will generally last more than a lifetime. Our range of FSC certified engineered boards are very popular with environmentally-aware designers. Engineered boards are more stable than solid wood floors and are generally more forgiving and can be used over a wider variety of subfloors and fitted in a larger number of methods.

Teak
Teak solid wood flooring is easy to work with, lovely to behold, strong, not very heavy despite its strength, and very resistant to fungus and insect infestations. Teak plantations have sprung up around the world in order counter the dwindling supply and meet ever increasing demand for teak.
The first thing to know about teak is that it offers colouration ranging from a rich, but mellow gold to an attractive brownish-red hue. The grain is packed quite tightly as is common with most hardwoods.

Wenge
Wenge is a special wood. Some might even say it is rich in mystic powers. For hundreds of years it has been used in its native Africa to make ceremonial masks and statues paying homage to gods. Wenge and the closely related species panga-panga are indigenous to Africa. In fact, they so closely resemble one another that in some areas, the wood is sold interchangeably.
With its dark colouration and interesting figures, Wenge solid wood flooring makes for a dramatic-looking floor. Wenge is an ideal choice for high-traffic flooring areas, particularly in public buildings, such as hotels, boardrooms and banks.
