At AB Lewis we take our responsibility with the local and wider community very seriously. The main organisation which the firm supports is the Timber Trades’ Benevolent Society (TTBS).
The TTBS provides small cash allowances for the needy, and assists with heating bills, Christmas gifts and regular cash payments for the sick and elderly.
It also makes grants towards property repair and refurbishment, for the replacement of domestic appliances, and for specialist equipment for the disabled. The TTBS is funded from investment income, regular contributions from firms, individuals and organisations connected to the Timber Trade and by running fundraising events regionally and nationally.
